Sustainable Resolutions

2014 Happy New Year Vector (5)Happy 2014! Did you make any resolutions this year? Health is usually a pertinent topic surrounding this time, with people aiming to get in better shape by altering their lifestyles to whatever degree. One health-related resolution of mine is to eat more nuts. Others might be shooting for a more involved change, like going vegan. If your resolutions include a greater consideration for the health of the planet as well, there are a multitude of possible goals to strive for. Since we’re still stuck in the middle of very cold times, you could refresh yourself on methods to reduce electricity during winter, or try leaving the heat dial alone more than you did last month. My own sustainable resolution is to cut down my shower time, something I still struggle with on extra-drowsy mornings.

You can keep these goals on your mind by creating accountability or marking down each green day you accomplish and seeing how long your green streak can go. Of course, if you’re already rocking it on all stages when it comes to living sustainably, your resolution in this area might just be to keep doing your thing. Whatever they may be, feel free to share your resolutions with us below.
